Natalie's First Birthday - Pink Sparkle Party!

I was soooo excited (and majorly inspired by Pinterest!) to throw a fun, pink, girly party for Natalie's first birthday!  She LOVES bling and sparkly things, we tried to incorporate sparkly accents where we could.  My sister and even my husband helped with all the little touches. The details took DAYS, but it was so worth it!

I even attempted those homemade
tissue pom poms :)

I found pink sparkle cupcake dust at Michael's in the cake decorating section, printed and glued her picture on each of the decorative picks....cupcakes on a budget. :)

The best way to have a kid party is serve COLD food so you don't have to stand in the kitchen the entire party!  I have learned my lesson in the past.  Everything we served: croissant sandwiches, pinwheels, tortellini salad, fruit, vegetables, chips and crackers was prepared and ready by the time the party started.  I could enjoy every minute of the party and not just the kitchen!

Do-it-yourself  mini water bottle labels with a tiny flower and bling added. "Happy 1st Birthday Natalie!"

The star of the party!

We have so many beautiful letters to give to her at her 18th birthday party!

Cute little pink tutu - $7 at Target.  Can't beat it!
